Here we went to a cute, little town named Mt. Gilead. Even though the town probably had a population of 300, they had the most amazing park. Now I'm convinced we need one of those in Sanford. I might beseech the Kiwanis Club to build us one.
One of Eliana's first attempts at feeding herself with a spoon. She missed.
Even though this picture was a little blurry, I think it's so cute-the 2 of them sitting on the chair watching TV.
Eliana is in the "give it to you" stage. If you ask for it, she'll most likely give it to you as with this straw.
Our 2 girls. Sammie is a great big sister! I first taught her to be nicer to Eliana by saying, "Sammie, if you're mean to her, she going to punch you in the face one day." That's all it took for Sammie.
This is that wonderful play structure! Of course, the picture doesn't do it justice. It is a whole maze of steps and ladders, bridges and tunnels! We'd probably be there all the time if we had one of those in town.

Monday, we officially start the 1st grade! Sammie is already begging me to start school. I think she really enjoys the time we have together. I'm starting with the year-round school schedule because it gives me just a little bit more leeway when we want to take a day off.

In other Decock events, Eliana is walking more and more now! She took her first steps on the 4th of July and has been walking a little bit further. The other day, I got her to walk across the whole room!
