This is Sammie and her friend Brennen. I thought this picture turned out so well I had to put it on the site. Couldn't you imagine this as one of the pictures that a photo frame comes with? Brennen is the son of Jenni, one of my nearest and dearest friends. If you could picture the perfect friend, Jenni would be the one that you would come up with. She not only volunteered to host my baby shower, but she loves Sammie like she is her own. She also is very considerate, willing to be there for me whenever I call (which happens to be a lot because she's a labor and delivery nurse). I am truely blessed by God to have her as a friend; we have known each other since we were 4. Tell me about the special friend in your life?

I have to admit that Jenni indeed is a very nice girl and I am so glad you have her as a friend!
My best best friend has to be Aunt Willie,in Holland. Before she became my brother Kees's wife she was my best griend. I was always on the lookout for a girl for Kees as he seemed, to me, as a 17 year old, not all that succesful. I met her on my way to school and befriended her.
I soon realized she would be perfect. I took her home and Kees would not even look at her! What to do now. Since I wore make-up and she didn't, I figured if anything would turn him on, it would be a nice hairdo and lots of makeup. So I gave her a makeover (she did not know about my scheme) and again took her home and "Bingo".
They have been married for more than 40 years.
