Tips for Healthy Living
Here are some great tips for healthier living:
- Take your sodas out of the fridge. If they are not at easy access, they're less likely to be consumed.
- Keep a vegetable tray in the refridgerator, so you can grab a veggie anytime. The best thing to do is to make it after grocery shopping. Just put whatever vegetables on the tray that you'll eat with some dressing and cover with plastic wrap.
- Keep cold water at hand in the refridgerator (unless you're like my mother-in-law who likes her water lukewarm).
- When you go out to eat, always order a glass of water. Even if you have something else to drink, you might be more motivated to drink it if it's there.
- When you're sitting on the couch at night, watching TV, have a glass of water in front of you.
- If you find it hard to exercise, try doing it first thing in the morning. Before you do anything else, pop in the video or dvd. Don't let yourself sit down on the couch first or have breakfast.
- And my husband's personal favorite: have sex with your husband. It's been proven to be good for you and him.
